now back to business...

You know when you get so busy, no matter how hard you're working it always feels like nothing is getting done? The seems to sum up how I've felt the last several weeks. This weekend I was able to not only attend our second film curating session (and a doozy it was) but finally sit down with our environmental design team, our lighting designer, our stage manager, and several playwrights. Low and behold, things started to make sense.

The Crown Point Festival is a mix of so many elements, so many players and so many talents. What we've bitten off is so huge, but now I'm really starting to taste it. Almost organically, you can start to see what films go with what plays and what music you should be hearing. You wipe all the bullshit to the side and you start to remember why we took on this project in the first place. I like seeing how you see and i like hearing what you hear, now its almost time for you to taste what i taste.
