Sarah Flynn
When Sarah Flynn was fifteen years old, her mother handed her a copy of Lynyrd Skynyrd's One More From the Road and told her it was the only thing she'd ever need in life. It was fate, then, that led her ten years later to a job in digital distribution and new media at Sanctuary Records Group, home to Skynyrd, Iron Maiden, and Morrissey among others. In the years in between, Sarah completed a combined BA/MA in philosophy at the New School University and spent four and a half years at the independent label spinART Records, where she did everything from production to advertising to A&R. She has also written for many independent music magazines, including Devil In the Woods and Impose Magazine; in fall of 2004, she became Impose's senior editor. In her spare time, she also manages Chicago orchestral pop band Head of Femur.
