Liz Roy recently moved back to New York City from Dubai, where she lived and worked for two years. Liz's career has been focused on public relations for both the performing and visual arts, and in her previous roles she has managed national and international public relations campaigns for numerous organizations, including the Catskill Mountain Foundation, a non-profit arts organization in Hunter, NY; the Dubai International Jazz Festival, a three-day festival in Dubai featuring internationally renowned jazz musicians; and The Dubai International Art Center, Dubai's oldest and largest non-profit arts organization which has helped to foster arts education in Dubai for the past 30 years. Through her work in public relations Liz has helped increase
awareness and both public and corporate support of art organizations within the US and abroad. In addition to doing public relations for the Crown Point Festival, Liz is also the Co-Owner and Creative Director of Mezze, an online gallery and events-based business selling contemporary art from the Middle East and Asia. She received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, where she studied Fine Arts and International Studies.
